About the Moofcast
Our review system works on the idea that people will read the text and make their decisions based off that, rather than placing importance on a score of 1 to 10. 10 point scales are so subjective to personal definitions of what those values mean, that it just doesn't seem like the best way for our site to operate. To some, a 7 is two points above average. To others, its likened to a near failing grade in school. We also want to steer away from the message board mentality that a game is only worth buying or playing if it gets a 9 or a 10. In place of the 1 to 10 scale, we'll be assigning a "thumbs up, thumbs down" to each game reviewed. Should a game recieve two thumbs up, its considered the top of its class and an absolute reccomendation. One thumb up is meant to imply that the game may have its faults, but there is still an audience out there for it, and its up to the reader to determine from the review if they are part of that audience. No thumbs is our way of saying that a game doesn't offer enough to make it worth your time. No game will ever get a "perfect" or "must-own" status placed on it. The truth of the matter is that games are supposed to be fun ways to spend your freetime, not assignments or some necessity that you can't live without.
Moof Pack History:
The Moof Pack formed with 3 original members: Andrew, Nick, and Josh. Also known as Uno Ill Nino, Nick Bean, and siamesedreamer (now DR3AMR), respectively. Andrew and Josh had met through internet message boards talking about Rainbow Six 3 on the Xbox. They met up on LIVE to play Rainbow Six 3 together, and have been friends ever since. At the time of the Halo 2 launch, they both met Nick through a mutual friend and would end up playing lots of Halo 2 together. These were happy times as many of our friends would get on regularly to play Halo 2 clan matches. Nick, DR3AMR, and Uno would eventually end up playing several games together such as Splinter Cell and later versions of Rainbow Six.
Sometime in 2005, Nick would visit Andrew in Wisconsin after their trip to E3 didn't work out. When he got there, Nick got to see Andrew's pets, "the moofs". These were dwarf hamsters that all had variations of the word "moof" in their name. For example, there was Biggie Moofers, Minnie Moofers, and Spotty Moofers. Nick dubbed them "The Moof Pack" around that time and soon after, we ended up refering to ourselves as "The Moof Pack" online. The idea of little hamsters getting on Xbox LIVE and playing Rainbow Six was just too hilarious for us. We had to call ourselves The Moof Pack from then on.
Eventually, The Moof Pack would assimilate it's friends list into itself. Members of groups like "Team Nova" and "The Bobcat Crew" would soon find themselves being referred to as Moof Pack members instead of their original crews. Such victims include but are not limited to: Moonlord, Big Dogg, Stof United, Simonseztruck, Major Maxim, DaftendireKt, The Drasnian, thebdb, Liquid Leads, Fox Medik, and Silver Armada (now RWingo S7).
Today, The Moof Pack is larger than ever and still stuffing it's friends in it's cheeks by force. Nobody asks to be a member of The Moof Pack, you just sort of find yourself in it one day.

I've been playing games since the early-eighties. I started out playing games like pinball and Pac-Man as a kid and my father bought an Atari 5200 in those days as well. Once the NES came out, my love for games took off and I haven't looked back since. I've owned an Atari 5200, 8-bit NES, 16-bit SNES, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Atari Jaguar, Playstation 1, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo Gamecube, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, PS3, and countless handhelds including those weird Neo-Geos that nobody bought. Favorite all-time games include but are not limited to: Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter Alpha series, Quake III Arena, Marvel vs Capcom series, Tekken series, Halo series, Gears of War, Castlevania: SOTN, Rainbow Six series, Splinter Cell series, and Wipeout series.

I started playing with the Atari 2600 and a 286 computer with Mean 18 golf. From the NES to the SNES and Sega gaming was a big part of growing up. Watching the Industry grow and Change has been one of my passions over the years. There are many things I enjoy outside of Gaming like spending time with my family and watching football and lifting weights. I have been collecting games for a while now and the current systems I own are:
NES, SNES, Sega Genesis both original and 2nrd release, Atari Jaguar, 3DO, N64, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and an arcade Jamma cabinet
Handhelds: Turbografix Express (best all time), Gameboy, Gameboy color, Gameboy advance, Sega Nomad, PSP, DS and of Course Virtual Boy.
My favorite all time games are: Killer Instinct, Final Fantasy III and X,NFL2k5, GTA IV

I was thinking about all the clever things I could try to do to introduce myself. Like writing the memiors of a serial killer through my experience in gaming. Start with killing animals (like the rabbits and deer in oregon trail or octorocks and bats in Zelda) and let it culminate with the really gruesome murders I have performed (like the fatalities in Mortal Kombat or chainsawing someone in half in GoW), but I think that has been done before so i'll give it to you straight. I probably play games 30-40 hours a week. I have owned at least one console per generation since the NES hit shelves, but have dabbled in almost all of them. I don't discriminate, if it is good I will play it and sing it's praises, if it's bad i'll persecute the bastards that unleashed on the world. I have one goal in regards to the gaming industry. That's to get the developers and publishers out there to start taking chances and deliver the hardcore gamers that have been supporting the industry over the last twenty years deserve.

I've been playing games since the NES days, growing up as a hardcore nintendo fanboy, but grew to love most other systems. (Except the Genesis.). I own a NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Saturn, DC, Xbox and 360, ps 1 and 2, and a shit ton of handhelds, my favorite being the SNES. My favorite games are gear of war, the metal gear series, all the mario games, marvel vs capcom 2, earthbound, and Um Jammer Lammy. I hate anime with all my heart, except for Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo. Teenagers cause me to go buck wild with anger.
I met everyone in the launch time of the 360, as Co-Creator of The Bobcat Crew, which essentially became assimilated with The Moof Pack in the following years.
It's weird to think that here I am now, doing the same things those people did whom I idolized so much! It's a blast, I love my Moofin' family and I hope you can find something to love about us too. Thanks for being a part of this crazy fun ride. <3
